PDF to Word extracts the text from each page and saves it as a DOCX file you can edit. Page breaks are kept. Layout, tables, fonts and images are not, so it works best for text documents such as letters and articles.

Why do I get strange characters?
Some PDFs, often Urdu ones, store their text in a custom font, so it cannot be read as normal text. Use Scan to Word (OCR) instead.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
No. Scanned pages have no text to extract. Use Scan to Word (OCR) instead.
Is the formatting kept?
No, only the text and page breaks.
